Explore your interests
Open Student Studio at the top right. Create a free account or sign in, then start your subject reflection. Save your answers and come back as your thinking develops.

Find out what a course actually involves
Read the curriculum and teaching style, investigate the entry requirements and consider the full cost. Save the official course page and your reasons for considering it in your own shortlist.
Step 3
Turn an interest into something you do
Read something carefully, try a small project, speak to a teacher or work through a course requirement. Record what you did and what you learned in your Studio.
Keep the work you’ll want to write about.
You can reflect on your subject, keep learning notes, record activities, save a shortlist and organise tasks without buying a service. The compass helps you see how academics, activities, writing, recommendations, tests and university choices connect.

When would personal support be useful?
When you would benefit from another person reading your work, discussing your choices or helping you plan, compare the specific services and their limits. Each plan explains its meetings, feedback and deliverables, and includes the advanced Studio tools. Choose support for the work you actually need.
